The Autism Relative serves as a vessel to project my life living with a brother diagnosed with Autism, as well as relate to those around the world who face similar circumstances. Moreover, it will educate and clue loyal readers as to what life is like and inspires me in this crazy world.

"If you’ve met one individual with autism, you’ve met one individual with autism"
- Dr. Stephen Shore

"You have got to keep autistic children engaged with the world. You cannot let them tune out"

-Temple Grandin

The Full Story

What truly motivates you?

For me, it's my brother. Although he does have severe Autism, we still have so many similarities and are so close in age that he's basically my twin. Through it all, he finds happiness in the littlest of things and it makes you strive to discover your happy place.

The Autism Relative is truly my own passion project, gaining more and more traction each day. People say I should have started this sooner, but the world can be cruel. That is why the goal here is to raise Autism awareness the best way I can, and in turn allow those with Autism to live freely and those who are close to an individual with Autism to have the strength to share their stories as well as read and relate.
